The governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, led an inspection on road projects in the Aba area of the state.
The governor was joined by the Honourable Commissioner for Works in the state. Roads inspected include Port Harcourt Road, Ekeakpara-NNPC Road Osisioma, Omuma Road, Eziukwu Road, Market Road, Tenant Road, Cameroon Road, Ehi Road, Clifford Road, School Road, and others.
Governor Otti, while inspecting the roads, commended the work done on Port Harcourt Road by Julius Berger and guaranteed the public that the road will be open soon.
According to Otti, “I commend the quality of work done on Port Harcourt Road by Julius Berger and guarantee that the road will soon be ready for commissioning. With multiple ongoing construction and reconstruction projects across the state, Abia will soon take its pride of place among economically advanced states with the right environment for investment and investors.”
He also called on the residents of Aba to join hands and keep the city clean at all times.
